flake software package provides Alternative encoder for the Free Lossless Audio Codec, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install flake
flake is installed in your system.
Make ensure the flake package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep flake *
You will get with flake package name, version, architecture and description in a table
